Invoicing Cycle

Please note that this should not affect existing customers (i.e. existing as  a customer before 6 pm on 1 Dec 2019 Toronto time). Your Invoices should continue to be generated by the billing system automatically,  on the 1st day of each calendar month (very early in the morning Toronto time) for that month (i.e. likely emailed to you before 1 am on the 1st of the month).

However for new customers (those who became customers after 6 pm 1 Dec 2019 Toronto time), there is a change to logic of how our billing system has been configured. Your invoices should be generated each month on the same day of the month as you placed your order (so pretty much every 30 days, as opposed to on the 1st day of each month).  For example if you ordered an internet plan on the 10th of Dec, your first invoice would run from 10 Dec to 10 Jan, then on the 10th of each month after that.

The reason we decided to make this configuration change to our billing system, (for future customers only) was that under the settings of billing on the 1st day of each calendar month, there was an initial invoice for a part month, the monthly plan portion of which was prorated by the number of days remaining in that calendar month, and many people found this to be very confusing.
